Donald Hulse’s 2014 H-D Lowrider

Donald Hulse from Whittier, Ca professes that though the bike looks like a million bucks, that this bike has truly been built on a budget. Rather than throwing a bunch of dollars at this bike Donald has been very fortunate to have good friends like Greg at Hyevon Choppers and Seth at Aggressive Designs that have always been there to help him along the way. The bike started as just a regular 2014 H-D Dyna Lowrider,  but Donald had other plans for the bike. Donald grew up in the South Bay of California and after seeing Low Rider cars cruising PCH at an early age he knew that this bike was not going to go the murdered-out route. He knew It was going to be chromed out and panel painted. Donald and friends then got busy blowing the bike apart, getting the paintable parts to Aggressive Designs, and then Donald set forth in ordering a gang of custom and chromed-plated parts. In a few months the bike came out the other end of the customization tunnel pretty much as you see here. And Donald has been riding the shit out of this lowrided Lowrider ever since. But as we all know these bikes are never really finished. So much so that even the day of the photo shoot Donald hit up Mikey Santoro and grabbed a big bag of blue Chachos to dress up the engine, transmission, and rear Legend shocks. Now Donald is searching for a T-Sport fairing for this bike and will have it painted to match, so he can swap between the current H-D quarter fairing and the T-Sport with a tall windshield for those cold winter morning rides to work. From to-to-tail this bike was the culmination of hard work, friends and family all coming together for the sake of custom bikes and friendship. And like Donald has always said the best part of riding motorcycles “besides the ride” is the friends he has made.  We couldn’t agree more.
