While we were in Malaysia for the Art Of Speed show we dropped by Stronghold Cycles, which is part of the Gasket Alley complex. Housed between an H-D dealership and a few stellar bars and restaurants Stronghold Cycles holds down a large portion of Malaysia’s high-end custom scene. The shop itself is a work of art with reclaimed wood and industrial metal being made into some of the finest fixtures we have ever seen. But the variance of bikes for sale is what attracted us. Not only are there stock and custom H-Ds filling the floor, there are also bikes from BMW, Matchless, Lambretta, Vespa, Victory, and Zero Engineering. The racks and shelves are stocked with a plethora of killer parts and gear, and the wall of Bell helmets they have is very impressive as well. If you are ever in town, check them out and tell the manager Lawson Lee we said what’s up.
