Tyler Hubbard may be known worldwide for his chart-topping country hits and high-energy performances, but what many don’t know is that his true escape comes not just from music, but from motorcycles. Whether it’s riding dirt bikes with his kids or cruising open roads, Hubbard has a deep-rooted love for all things two-wheels.
Participating in Indian Motorcycle’s FORGED custom build program, Hubbard was the recipient of an all-new, custom Indian Chieftain PowerPlus – built and designed by renowned bike builder Kyle Bertsch of Forever Rad.

After discovering that he was customizing a bike for country music star Tyler Hubbard, Bertsch and Hubbard began texting every day to bounce ideas off one another to help make Tyler’s dream bike become a reality. While he had some ideas, Tyler told Kyle to take control and lean into his creative instincts to create a one-of-a-kind motorcycle that Kyle himself would be proud of.
“We set this bike up to be tall, aggressive, and fast. (We wanted to) take a street bike and turn it into a race bike, but keep it comfortable,” said Bertsch.

Bertsch and the Forever Rad team left no stone unturned – taking the bike down to the frame to smooth out textures and casting marks, fully coating the PowerPlus motor, and slimming down the fuel tank. Aside from a one-off, custom pipe developed by HPI, every part of this custom Chieftain PowerPlus is available, including several parts developed and manufactured by Forever Rad. The bike reduces weight with carbon fiber components throughout, including front and rear fenders. An upgraded suspension, including Big Bear cartridges and Big Bear rear shock, deliver a plush ride, while Kraus parts, including handlebars, risers, floorboards, and passenger pegs, add to the overall style and design.

Indian Motorcycle’s FORGED program is a six-part video series highlighting three unique interpretations of the all-new 2025 Chieftain PowerPlus. While each design and development videos have been published, final reveals will continue to roll out in the coming weeks.
With the all-new Chieftain PowerPlus, Indian Motorcycle has redefined the American V-Twin bagger market. Designed with distinctive American style, the Chieftain PowerPlus features rider-assist technologies never before offered in an American V-Twin motorcycle and is powered by Indian Motorcycle’s championship-winning PowerPlus 112 engine.
