A couple months ago I hit up my friend Andrew Saavedra, who works at Factory 47 in Pico Rivera, California about the possibility of hosting a Vicla show at their HQ. Since the inception of Factory 47 the product line has catered to chicanos who ride Harleys, so I knew it would be the right place to throw a bike show and party. After hashing out a few details with the homies at Factory 47 we set a date of October 20th and put out the word. It didn’t take long for the right people to take notice and when the day of the show came around The rather large parking lot of Factory 47 was jam-packed with vendors and a ton of bikes. Throughout the day the DJ rolled through oldies, 90’s gangster rap and 1970’s and 80’s dance music. Awards were given out for the best bikes and then until Trish Toledo took the stage and treated the event attendees to an hour long set of strong originals and great cover tunes. And just as quick as it all started this monumental single-day show was over. We would like to thank all who came out and are already working on next year’s event.
