When one thinks of Girder frontends the mind immediately wanders to the hundreds of janky chopper forks that litter our nation’s motorcycle swap meets. Most of those chrome-clad forks are exercises in how a parallelogram should not be suspending a motorcycle and that theme continues on to many of the girder forks made today. That was until FG Racing in Italy introduced its performance girder frontend.
The F-Girder frontend has a hi-tech soul with a retro heart. The fork is made from solid billet aluminum that slides on four aerospace-grade roller bearings and is dampened by a single Ohlins shock absorber with both compression and damping adjustments. The fork is available in both a “K” Klassic model as well as an “R” model for race. Each of these frontends is made for the given application and are available with traditional or radial caliper mounts. for more info on these forks and the complete line of FG Racing parts, contact them at: www.fgracing.it or DM them at @fgracingparts
