Last year the Moto Beach Classic was a fun time, but this year the event was coupled with the Surf City Blitz making it an over-the-top experience. What used to be a single-day event, the revved-up event now is a two-day moto music festival featuring the likes of Rancid, Bad Religion, Social Distortion, TSOL, Suicidal Tendencies, The Offspring and Pennywise. There was Super Hooligan dirt track racing, a bike expo, vendors, food, drinks, Stunt shows by Bell and Ride and Destroy and sprint raced by BMW. And get this; it was all on the beach in the sand! We went both days and had a blast seeing friends, watching bands, checking out the racing and most of all people watching. Big props to Roland and the and at Roland Sands Design and the folks at SGE entertainment for putting it all together. And you all have now been warned there will be one already being planned for 2019. So make arrangements to be part if it. Because if you don’t, you will be super bummed you didn’t make the scene. motoclassicevents.com surfcityblitz.com
