S&S Cycle is excited to announce our new HPT496 cam for Harley-Davidson® M8 models.
This all-new cam will be available in chain and gear drive versions, and it is everything you have wanted in a bolt-in cam! The idle lope sounds racy, under power it really starts to sing, and best of all, it makes significant power jumps. It is designed to work with stock or S&S rocker arms and springs so the HPT496 is a very straightforward install. Bolt it in and really wake up your M8! How awake? Well, when we installed it in a 2023 ST117, there was a 29hp gain and 7.8 lb-ft torque gain. When installed in a 2022 Touring 114, we saw a gain of 47hp and 22.9 lb-ft of torque. For transparency, both of these bikes have an S&S air cleaner and exhaust but who bolts in a cam and leaves the airbox and exhaust stock?
