Our Main Man Jeff G Holt Rides and reviews the all-new 2020 Harley-Davidson Softail Lowrider S. A blacked-out machine with looks that hark back to the golden age of the Motor Company. But don’t let the looks fool you. This performance motorcycle has “All Mod Cons” featuring a 114ci Milwaukee Eight engine, ABS braking, floating rotors front and rear, and LED lighting.
We liked the ergonomics of the bike in its stock form. And the new inverted frontend and adjustable rear shock were some of the best suspension we have ever found on a Harley. But of course we would change the bars, seat, and intake/exhaust the first week we had it. Other aftermarket options would be a bigger fairing and a set of T-Sport Softbags for when we really hit the highways, but all in all this is one of the best offerings that we have seen come out of the H-D factory since the Street Glide.
