REVER Launches Brand-New Twisty-Roads Feature

REVER, the world-class route-planning, tracking, and navigation mobile application now offers a Twisty Roads algorithm for planning routes in-app and online. Whereas most navigation engines seek the shortest or quickest route between the starting point and the destination, Twisty Roads locks in on an alternative that incorporates the most crooked roads between point A and B. Not only does Twisty Roads avoid highways, but it seeks secondary streets and roads just for the hell of it.

If there is one thing that we know about REVER users, is that for most it’s not just about the destination but about the journey. In fact, more often than not, our users are looking to explore along roads that wind and meander aimlessly along scenic stretches instead of hustling along boring sections of freeway. Now with Twisty Roads, whether you are planning online or in the app, PRO users can toggle on the Twisty Roads switch and the mapping software will seek out the twistiest route to get you where you want to go.

“Our users are always seeking fresh and fun places to ride or drive,” says REVER Co-founder Justin Bradshaw. “Twisty Roads is just another great way for them to plan exciting and adventurous routes, through a very simple-to-use interface.”

The simplicity of allowing the software to create the route can be really fun and might just take you on a route that you never would have thought of by simply planning it yourself. If you are traveling and exploring near unfamiliar territory, or just seeking something fresh closer to home, Twisty Roads can be a fun alternative to your same old burned-in routine weekend ride or drive. Let the routing engine do the work, you never know what you might find.
