There are some folks in this world who want as minimal of a helmet as they can get. This has spawned many shitty “novelty” helmets to be sold at bike weeks and swap meets. But when the man comes down on you for wearing a non-DOT approved lid and hooks you up with a $300 ticket, its a total bummer.
