BIKE CHECK: The Taxman’s Harley-Davidson Lowrider ST

This Bike Check features our Taxman (yes, this is legit) whose name is Manny Aguilar and goes by @taxman_o1 on Instagram. He runs Option One Tax @option1ca in Corona, California and does a ton of taxes for companies and individuals in the motorcycle business.

Manny is also a Harley-Davidson motorcycle junkie who has built a ton of purpose built and performance forward Dynas and FXRs. Now new he is currently into building H-D Milwaukee Eight Softails.

His latest bike is this Lowrider ST that has a myriad of styling cues from the Harley Davidson Grand Touring Edition FXR. The Harley-Davidson FXRD Grand Touring Edition was a rare, one-year-only model produced in 1986, part of the popular FXR line, featuring extensive factory touring gear like hard bags, a tour pack, dual exhaust, and often a radio/stereo system for long-distance comfort, making it a sought-after collector's item for its unique features and limited production numbers.

Instead of buying and ruining such a rare bike, Manny took it upon himself to build an updated version from a Harley-Davidson Lowrider ST. Using parts from Thrashin’ Supply, suspension from RWD, a black chrome Bassani pipe and engine build by Motor Witch Industries making this one a very mean machine. Topping it all off with paintwork from Supernatural Custom Paint was for sure the icing on this two wheeled throwback masterpiece.
