While in California we stopped by RWD Suspension and talked to their main man Dustin and got a good glimpse of what’s going down.

At RWD V-Twin, they pride themselves on being an American-made manufacturer specializing in high-performance suspension, fenders, and fairings for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Based in Orange, California, they have over 30 years of experience in designing and crafting top-quality parts for the Harley community and is particularly known for its popular RS-2 line of shocks and front fork cartridges.

RWD Performance offers this performance suspension tailored to enhance comfort, control, and handling for various Harley-Davidson models, including Softails, Dynas, Sportsters, and Touring bikes. These systems incorporate advanced technologies such as Active Valve Technology (AVT) Dampening, Position Sensitive Technology, Adjustability, and Durable Construction.

The brand’s Active Valve Technology (AVT) Dampening utilizes newly engineered high-flow pistons to provide improved compliance over minor road imperfections while maintaining control during aggressive riding. Position Sensitive Technology offers enhanced bottom-out protection through a robust bump zone in the shock’s travel. Adjustability features a 12-click external compression adjuster and preload-adjustable Eibach springs, allowing riders to fine-tune the suspension for solo or two-up riding and personal preference.

RWD Performance’s Durable Construction features billet aluminum construction, a 5/8” stainless steel shock shaft, a type III hard-anodized body, and a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.
