The 11th Annual Kernville Kampout

The 11th Annual Kernville Kampout

Somewhere along the way, the Kernville Kampout stopped being just a weekend trip and turned into a tradition. What started over a decade ago as a small group of friends tucked into the back corner of a campground has grown into something people plan their entire year around. Now, the 11th Annual Kernville Kampout is coming up, and if history tells us anything, it’s going to be another unforgettable weekend.

The early days were simple—about 40 people, a handful of bikes, a few coolers, and a movie playing on a makes-shift screen under the stars. Campfires, laughs, and friends who mostly already knew each other. But each year, more bikes showed up, more states were represented, and more stories were told around the fire. Before long, the Kampout became less of a party and more of a reunion.

In recent years, the weekend has grown to include live music, ride-outs, bike shows, yard games, and a full campground packed with campers, choppers, baggers, and everything in between. Friday always starts mellow in theory—but by nightfall campfires are everywhere, music is playing, and old friends are picking up conversations right where they left off the year before.

Saturday usually brings the big ride, plenty of games and bike show action, and live music into the night. Vendors keep everyone fed, the bar keeps everyone hydrated, and the campground turns into a small city of motorcycles and good times.

By Sunday morning, things slow down. Coffee replaces whiskey, camp gets quieter, and everyone starts packing up with the same words: “See you next year.”

That’s really what the Kernville Kampout has become — not just a motorcycle campout, but a yearly meetup of a growing family.

Kernville Kampout found a way to reduce ticket costs to $125!! So start getting your crew together, the 11th Annual is coming!
