Upgrade your Lane Splitter helmet with a Gen 2 replacement shield engineered for clear vision, rugged protection, and fast installation. Built from injection-molded, scratch- and impact-resistant polycarbonate thermoplastic, each shield is designed to handle daily riding abuse while maintaining excellent optical clarity.
Gen 2 baseplates feature an improved mechanism with firmer detents for three open positions, and a nickel-plated stainless-steel snap-on system fastens securely to the helmet shell for confidence at speed. An anti-fog treatment on the interior fights moisture build-up from breathing and humidity, helping keep your view crisp in changing conditions. UV protection is built in, with UV +50 rating and over 92% UVA block and over 99% UVB block, plus strong UV resistance verified to AATCC-138 standards.
Select options also include mirrored finishes to help reduce glare, in-mold tint technology, and an advanced Pinlock® setup for fog-free performance. The Pinlock® lens uses Dry Hydrophilic moisture absorbing technology, and ProtecTINT™ sun-reactive technology adjusts from clear to light smoke in seconds for adaptable visibility from bright sunshine to nighttime. Gen 2 hinge hardware is included for quick, easy installation, with the Pinlock® lens pre-installed on the shield.
Care: Do not use household cleaners or petroleum-based chemicals on the shield or Pinlock® lens, as they can damage anti-fog and photochromic performance. Clean with mild soapy water and a lint-free microfiber towel.
