The hard-chromed shaft is 14% larger for increased strength, while high-quality chrome-silicon springs ensure a consistent spring rate for the life of the motorcycle. Internally, a floating nitrogen piston ensures consistent damping performance, and deflective disc valving self-adjusts to frequency for controlled movement.

Installation is straightforward, utilizing original OEM hardware and low-friction sleeve bearings at both the top and bottom. This design allows the shock to float in its mount, avoiding shock bind for a smoother feel.
