Fitment and Installation Notes:
FOR 99-24 FLHR/FLHT/FLHX/FLTR/FLTRU/FLTRK (EXCEPT H-D FL TRIKE)
All shocks are measured center-of-eyelet to center-of-eyelet. Please note that selecting a shock length longer than your stock equipment may alter the head angle slightly, resulting in quicker steering. Heavy-duty applications are recommended for motorcycles operated at or near the manufacturer's maximum load rating more than 50% of the time.
Before installation, always confirm that your wheel travel can be altered without causing clearance issues. Check for potential contact between the swingarm/axle and the exhaust, as well as clearance for the chain or belt guard and tires. Ensuring proper fitment is critical for both safety and performance.
