Independent scavenge sections for the flywheel cavity and cam chest improve oil flow and help prevent debris buildup, thanks to debris screens in both scavenge pickups and a magnet in the cam chest that captures metal particles before they reach the oil pump. The design enhances oil flow capacity on both feed and scavenge sides, promoting cooler operation and extended engine life.
