The S&S Cycle 310-0878 crankcase features a 4.125-inch bore, providing a robust foundation for custom engine builds or as a replacement for T111, T124, or T143 models. Crafted from superior 356-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, this crankcase offers a balance of strength and lightweight performance, ensuring durability under demanding conditions. Its thicker wall sections enhance structural integrity while maintaining a stock appearance, making it suitable for high-performance applications.
Designed with a reinforced front motor mount and a Timken® sprocket shaft bearing, this crankcase is built to withstand rigorous use. It is clearanced for strokes up to 4-3/16 inches and cam lifts up to 0.720 inches, accommodating a wide range of custom modifications. Additionally, it includes studs, cam bearings, and a pinion with a Timken® bearing, simplifying installation and ensuring reliable operation. The crankcase is machined specifically for the new S&S oil line installation kits, sold separately, and includes a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO) for proper documentation.
