The S&S Cycle T124 Long Block Engine is engineered for the ultimate in street performance, delivering massive displacement and high compression for riders who demand power without compromise. Designed as a high-performance upgrade, this engine features a 124" displacement with a 10.8:1 compression ratio, utilizing forged flat-top pistons and 640 Easy Start gear drive cams for reliable, effortless starting every time.
A standout feature of the T124 is the precision engineering of the cylinder heads. These heads are specially machined to compensate for the non-stock cylinder length, ensuring perfect compatibility with stock-length intake manifolds (S&S manifold size 410) and throttle bodies with stock-length intake runners. Additionally, the breather vent bolt locations have been adjusted to the stock position, allowing most stock and performance air cleaner back plates to bolt up seamlessly to the engine.
Each engine is built with premium, American-made components, including:
- Super Stock™ heads and heavy-duty crankcases
- High-flow TC3 oil pump and cam plate/cover
- Easy Start 640 gear drive cams
- Forged flat-top pistons
- Stock style breathing system
Technical specifications include a 4-1/8" bore and 4-5/8" stroke. The cylinder heads are designed in the '99-'05 style; please note that owners of 2006 models will require a set of '99-'05 style offset intake flanges for proper installation. These T-series engines are compatible with various chassis but are specifically not compatible with Softail® models.
To provide maximum flexibility for your specific build, these long-block engines do not include fuel or ignition systems. Depending on your specific year and model, an oil line installation kit may be required, though revised oil routing on certain applications may eliminate this need. Proudly made in the USA, the T124 represents the pinnacle of high-displacement V-Twin engineering.
